Most of the ceramic wares need to glazed before they are loaded into kilns for firing . The traditional decorative porcelains in jingdezhen would have been beyond our imagination if there would be no beautiful glazes . The skills of glazing appear very easy , but actually, it is a very important and complicated process which is quite difficult to master. If you want to achieve an even layer of glaze in all parts of the body , more attentions should be paid to the different fluidity of various types of glazes. It is really no easy work.
1. Filter the glaze before glazing
2~3 Fully stir the glaze and filter it through fine mesh
4. The thickness of the filtered glaze should be observed by eyes and tested by hands
5 .The glaze with such a thickness is appropriate
